Family Newsletter Week of April 10, 2026

Dear Brackett Families,

What a week! Fourth and Third graders are completing the ELA MCAS this week. It is the first time testing for our third grade students. I am so proud of them. Tomorrow is the final day of class ELA testing. Next week we will have make-ups for third grade students.

Here is the Art Newsletter for April.

Spirit Day has been changed to April 17. The student council decided this spirit day will be Food Day. What is Food Day? On Food Day students can dress as their favorite food, wear clothes with food on them (printed not spilled), and bring their favorite foods for snack. What a fun way to get ready for Spring Break!

As a reminder, Spring Break is April 20-24. Brackett will be closed on these days.

• SAVE THE DATES: Field Day and June Fair

Field Day is scheduled for Friday, May 29 with a rain date of Friday, June 5.

Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd Grade Field Day is from 9:00-11:00am. Fifth graders will help with the stations. Everyone will have lunch between 11:00-11:45am. 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Field Day is from 11:50-1:50pm.

June Fair is Sunday, June 7 from 11am-2pm and will feature the yearly Art Show in addition to all of the exciting booths and activities. You don’t want to miss it!

We rely on many family volunteers to make these events a success. Please mark your calendars now and look for the sign up after spring break!
