Dear Brackett Families, Happy Thursday everyone. Tomorrow is the first day of Spring!! YAY! Thank you again to all of the volunteers who made the STEM events last week possible.
This week is Literacy Week, and the Brackett Read-a-thon is underway!
To date, 30% of families have registered and students have logged 23,158 of our 200,000-minute goal. Please take a minute this weekend to register your child on Booster to track minutes and invite friends and family to sponsor readers.
Read-a-thon is a vital fundraiser with a $20,000 goal that helps the PTO fund field trips, author visits, STEM Night, community events, teacher appreciation and classroom stipends.
Tomorrow is the final day of Literacy Week with Dress like a Book Character – Heroes and Villains – Day. The Read-a-Thon continues through next Wednesday.
Families of third, fourth, and fifth graders … I will send out a communication directly to you next week about MCAS. Please look out for this!
Don’t forget, on Monday 3/23, we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by sending your child(ren) to school wearing their brightest, mismatched socks!
Best,
Dr. Vice |
