Dear Brackett Families, Welcome back! It was so exciting to see everyone after such a long time away. Thank you to everyone who is modeling patience and kindness during drop off and pick up. We are excusing tardies this week to account for navigating the snow.
Conferences are next week. Please carefully review the schedule below so your child is picked up at the correct time. If you still have not signed up for conferences, please contact your child’s teacher today.
Monday 3/2– full day 8-2:30pm Tuesday 3/3– half day 8-11:30am (bag lunch will be provided) Wednesday 3/4– half day 8-11:30am (bag lunch will be provided) Thursday 3/5– full day 8-2:30 + evening conferences 6-8pm Friday 3/6– full day 8-2:30
Next Wednesday evening, the PTO is hosting a hybrid (in person and online) Q&A with Dr. Homan regarding the override. I will be onsite as well. I hope if you have any questions, that you will attend. See below for details.

Fifth Grade Parent Event TomorrowA CONVERSATION ABOUT GIBBS
This is just a reminder Mr. Andrew Ahmadi, Gibbs Principal, will be coming to Brackett on February 27 at 8:10am (right after drop off) to meet with Fifth Grade families. This will be an informal meet and greet with information shared about both the daily experience at Gibbs as well as events like Nature’s Classroom, that make Sixth Grade such a special experience. Hear about the proposed Arlington Public School budgets and ask your questions during this event with Superintendent Dr.Homan and School Committee Member Laura Gitelson. They will provide an overview of the proposed budget scenarios and answer any questions. Learn about potential cuts and how they affect Brackett.
