Dear Brackett Families, Hope you have a safe and restful break next week. We will return to school on Monday, February 23. Doors open at 7:55am. Over break, check out the amazing February ART Newsletter!
This year Fourth & Fifth Grade Science Fair night is expanding… In addition to seeing our students' displays of the scientific process, we are hosting a STEAM Bookfair and the first ever Brackett Lego Expo! What is a Lego Expo? Look below for more information!
I’ve included the signups for conferences in this newsletter this week as well -- just in case you missed them. We look forward to seeing all of you the first week in March.
Best,
Dr. Vice |

First-ever Lego Expo
Tuesday, March 10th Brackett Cafeteria Setup at 6pm; Show 6:30-8pm
The first ever Brackett Lego Expo is an opportunity for all students at Brackett to display their imagination, creativity and ingenuity using LEGO building bricks! Students from any grade are invited to participate by building a Lego creation at home and bringing it to display in a museum-style gallery. Students can choose to build from fun categories like Creatures, Habitats, Vehicles, or Miniature Scale–or create something entirely their own. They’re encouraged to bring their builds on a 9x13 cookie sheet (labeled with name and contact info). Learn more and register here. Got questions? Reach out to Taylor Heanue at [email protected]. |
