Dear Brackett Families, Wow! It is cold outside. Just so you know, we will try to go outside for recess unless it is extremely cold. We use the Child Weather Watch Chart to guide our decision on the length of time we spend outside or if we will go outside at all. Please send in coats, hats, and mittens/gloves, so that everyone can safely play during recess. Remember to label these as best you can.
Related to this, our number of tardy students has been steadily increasing over the past couple of weeks. With the cold weather, I know that more of you are driving to school for drop off and pick up. While driving may be warmer, finding parking and getting out of the car with all of those hats, mittens, and coats takes a bit of time. Please take a look at your morning routines, so that we can all be in the building by 8am each morning!
Looking forward to seeing students dress up like teachers and teachers dress up like students tomorrow on day 67 of school! I need to find my crocs!
