Dear Brackett Families,
Hope you had a lovely long weekend. On Monday our teachers had an amazing time collaborating together, learning from each other, and looking at student work. Nevertheless, we were so excited to see students back on Wednesday.:)
In this newsletter, we are trying something new. I have collected newsletters from our specialists to share with you. These are sometimes sent out separately, but today you will receive some of these here! I hope you take some time to look through them. These classes provide such inspiration for our students.
You may be wondering about the addition of Digital Learning in our specialist classes. This quarter we are hosting the Digital Learning Teacher Residency. Read more about this below.

Digital Learning Teacher ResidencyWe are excited to share that the Digital Learning Teacher Residency in the Library is beginning this quarter at Brackett. This model was designed to ensure that ALL third, fourth, and fifth graders in APS have access to high-quality instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Digital Literacy and Computer Science (DLCS) Standards. In addition, our Digital Literacy teacher is engaging with all Kindergarten, first and second grade classes allowing for all of our students to build creativity, problem-solving, and DLCS (digital literacy and computer science) skills!
