Family Newletter Week of October 3, 2025

Dear Brackett Families,

Thank you so much for coming last night to Back to School Night! It was wonderful seeing you and talking with you about how Brackett is a special place for so many families. Thank you to the teachers for sharing about their classrooms and the upcoming curricular topics.

 

As a reminder, conferences will be held twice this year – once during November and once in March. The links to sign up for November conferences will come out in my email on Thursday, October 9.

 

The Fifth Grade Student Council met for the first time on Tuesday morning. Our first order of business was to discuss the spirit day schedule for the year. As the student council explained to me, spirit days are times where we can celebrate being Brackett crickets, that we can all be excited together about being at Brackett, and that we can all just have a bit of fun.

On Friday October 10, our school-wide spirit day will be the ever-popular … PAJAMA DAY!

 

As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow Thursday, Oct 2.

We will see you on Friday to end the week.

On Friday October 3 at noon, you should receive emergency test messages (text, phone call, and email) from the Brackett School. If you do not, please complete this short form so we can update your records: APS Emergency Testing Feedback Form.
