Dear Brackett Families, Last Friday we had our first monthly assembly. During the assembly, we reviewed C.H.I.R.P. and talked about all of the grown ups at school who support us in showing Courage, Honesty, Inclusion, and Responsibility so we can be Proud to be Brackett crickets! Each month we will feature a different grade level who will share how they demonstrate C.H.I.R.P. with the other students and teachers. Just a reminder that picture day is tomorrow! Check out www.brackettpto.org/pictureday for more information.
Best, Dr. Vice |

Back to School NightBack to School Night runs from 6-8pm on Tuesday, September 30. Presentations are in the classrooms at the times listed below. During the class presentations, you should learn generally about the curriculum. In between the two grade-focused sessions, we will have a Meet & Greet/Involvement Fair in the Brackett gym. Families can meet our amazing specialists, sign up for the PTO, and submit CORI paperwork to volunteer for the school.
What if I have children in two different classes that are presenting at the same time? Families who will miss a presentation because of timing (let's say you have a 3rd and 5th grader for example) are invited to stop by each class, get materials, and say hello to the classroom teacher during the opposite presentation time.
What is a CORI... do I need one? A CORI is required for grown-ups who volunteer within the school. SO YES! We hope that all parents/guardians will get a CORI check and volunteer at school. To submit this paperwork we will need a copy of your drivers license or other government ID. A CORI needs to be re-submitted every 3 years. Is there child care? We want all families to be able to attend. Please reach out to me directly if you have child care needs.
