Family Newsletter of Week of 5/8/25

Dear Brackett Families,

Spring is an exciting time with many events planned both during the school day and after-school. Grade level specific events will be shared through classroom teachers in their weekly communication. I will try to keep a comprehensive list of school-wide events in my weekly newsletter.

Per my message from earlier this week, the contractor has resumed construction on the playground. This includes finishing the squishy surfacing and adding the sealcoating designs on the pavement. Our goals is to have the playground completed for end of the year festivities (i.e. Field Day, ScooperBowl, June Fair, Fifth Grade Celebration of Learning). As a result we will not have access to the Brackett main playground for approximately 3 weeks, weather permitting. I look forward to scheduling the Grand Opening ceremony as soon as the project is complete.

Best,
Dr. Vice
