Family Newsletter Week of 3/27/2025

Dear Brackett Families,

A few things for the week…

Today was our first day of MCAS testing. I was so impressed with our fourth grade students as they thoughtfully took Day 1 of the English Language Arts exam!

Secondly, as a reminder, all grade levels eat a snack at school in addition to lunch. In accordance with the APS Nutrition & Wellness Policy Guide Guideline for Healthy Decisions, families should send in a snack that they deem appropriate for their individual child though we encourage healthy options. When students forget their snack or are unable to bring one, there are limited snacks available in the office. Lately, we have had many children frequenting the snack box. Please talk with your child about the daily snack you are sending. If you would like to contribute to the office snacks, please contact Mrs. Robinson

Finally, here is a letter to the community regarding our school report card. Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. Just as your child’s report card shows how they are doing in different subjects, the school’s report card is designed to show families how our school is doing in different areas. A link to our school’s report card is also available at https://reportcards.doe.mass.edu/2024/00100010

Speaking of report cards … Student report cards will go live on PowerSchool tomorrow afternoon. Please check in with Ms. Robinson if you have questions about your login.

Best,
Dr. Vice
