Family Newsletter Week of 01/16/2025

Dear Brackett Families,

Earlier this week, fliers were sent home with information about School Council elections. The School Council is a separate entity from the PTO and works with the administration to discuss issues of policy, procedure, and improvement of the school. The School Council is composed of the principal, assistant principal, teacher, parent and community representatives and will convene quarterly for in person meetings.

Learn more about the school council candidates here and please vote by Friday, January 17.

Due to illness, the PTO Community meeting scheduled for tonight is Cancelled. We will include information about the rescheduled meeting next week.

Yours,
Dr. Vice

This event promises to be a vibrant celebration of culture, unity, and tradition, featuring performances, delicious food, and a variety of activities that highlight the beauty of the Lunar New Year.

Glow Dance Info

Practice your dance moves - the 2nd Annual Glow Dance is coming up!

A few key details (more info can be found here):

  • Friday, February 7, 6:30-8:30pm
  • Entry is FREE and open to all students, their families and Brackett faculty
  • Everyone will get one free glow bracelet - more items, plus food and drinks (bring a reusable water bottle!) will be available for purchase
