Today and Friday, Mr. Vanderlaine, Ms. Murray, Ms. Varallo and I are at the ASCD Leadership Conference. This is an amazing opportunity for us to think more deeply about school leadership at different levels – teacher leadership, community leadership, and administrative leadership – and to bring new and exciting ideas back to Brackett.
We are honored to have Ms. Weslie Etienne Pierre as acting principal for these two days. Please say hello and welcome her to our community.

Astronomy Night - October 18
Blast Off to Robbins Farm!
Join the Brackett STEM Committee for a night of stargazing on October 18th starting at 7:30 p.m. (rain date October 19th at 7:30 p.m.). We'll be setting up telescopes to explore the lunar surface, Saturn's rings, and more!
Meet us near the dog statue for an unforgettable cosmic adventure. Come on out for a chance to learn about our night sky and see the universe up close!

Chemistry Week is Coming! 💥🧪
Join us for a week of thrilling chemical experiments and demonstrations from the Brackett STEM Committee! From chromatography to thermal paper magic, we've got something for everyone.
When: October 21-24, after school (2:30 p.m. on M, T, & Th, 1:00 p.m. on W)
Where: Outside the main entrance to the school
Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn and have fun!
K/1st Family Math Night – 6:00-7:30 in the Brackett Cafeteria.

Help Arlington Families this Holiday Season
The holidays are just around the corner! Every year, the Brackett community comes together to support Arlington Health & Human Services (AHHS) Holiday Help Program. Holiday Help assists Arlington families in need to purchase gifts for their children during the holidays. AHHS had requested direct donations. Please donate at https://ahhscc.org/
Donations are requested by November 17 at the latest.
