  • There is no school tomorrow, Friday, Nov 10, as we have the day to honor our Veterans and thank them for their service.
  • LABEL everything – I cannot say this enough. The lost and found is brimming with items with no names.

Photos for Literacy

First grade classes are looking for calendar images of nature and the sky. If you have any you would like to donate, please send them in to Lorraine Keir, our literacy coach. Thank you!

Fall Food Drive Supports Arlington EATS

Monday 11/13 – Tuesday 11/21

*Collecting during drop off each morning*


  • Kindergarten: Cereal (Especially Cheerios)
  • Grade 1: Soup
  • Grade 2: Canned Fruit (Pineapple is loved)
  • Grade 3: Cookie/Cake Mixes
  • Grade 4: Dried Beans
  • Grade 5: Individual Pretzel Bags/Applesauce Cups (for the Brackett Snack Program)

All grades are encouraged to donate reusable bags! Please check expiration dates – Arlington EATS cannot accept expired food. Standard size items preferred to Jumbo.

Book Fair

The Brackett Book Fair will be held in-person this year from November 27 - December 1!  If you are interested in volunteering for the Book Fair, all of the specific class dates/times can be accessed via the sign-up link below.  


Each volunteer slot is 40-45 minutes.  Once you sign up, the Book Fair chairs Hadley Stinson and Tammy Kalt will be in touch to provide you with general need-to-know information.

Just a reminder that there is a COVID vaccine clinic on Monday 11/13 at Thompson, 3-7 PM. Appointment links are on the flyer


Here is a letter that was sent to grades 1 & 4 families regarding BMI (height and weight) screenings soon.
